airport transfer booked for a group
I book airport transfers for a living so I know the difference between a good firm and a poor one. Needed a taxi for my mother
I needed a taxi to take my mother to her hospital appointment at short notice, as her usual lift had fallen through. The car did arrive, though it was about fifteen minutes later than I was told, and I did not get a call to say so.

Needed a cheap way to get to gatwick
We needed a way to get from the flat in Croydon to Gatwick at 4am with two suitcases and no car, and the train was not running that early. Kiwitaxi quoted a fixed fee at the time of booking and the driver was waiting outside when we came down, which was what we wanted. The price was lower than the two local firms we checked first and there were no surprises on the card afterwards.

Booked a cab to the station for an early train and it came on time. The driver took a route I didn't expect and the fare was higher than I thought it would be, so I was a bit annoyed about that.
Cab was fine but slow to show
The cab was fine once it got there, but it took ages to show up and the app kept refreshing the map. I wouldn't say it was a nightmare but the wait was long for a short run.
