Honestly the thing that surprised me most was that a mechanic turned up at my house on a Saturday morning to do the service on my Octavia. I'd been expecting to drop it off somewhere and lose the whole day, so that alone made my week. The booking was quick and they confirmed the time by text the night before.

Booked online in a couple of minutes and the car was done the same day. Only niggle was that the confirmation email landed in my spam folder so I had to hunt for the booking reference when I turned up. Otherwise good value and the price was clear before I committed.

I hit a massive pothole on the A38 and blew a tyre, so I needed a replacement in a hurry. I had a look at a couple of other places first and most were booked up. These had a slot the same afternoon. The fitter was fine but I waited about forty minutes past my time and nobody came to say why. The tyre is good though.
