Compared to the big booking sites this was miles easier, no endless pop ups and the price was lower for the same boat. Paid, got a text, turned up and they had it ready. Nice one.
Read moreBooked a day on a rib and the confirmation said full tank of fuel included but we had to fill it up ourselves. Took ages to get anyone to answer the phone about it. The boat itself was fine but the whole thing felt like a faff.
Read moreI booked a half day outboard hire for a fishing trip with my brother-in-law and had never done it before. The booking form asked sensible questions, they emailed a checklist of what to bring, and the man at the marina walked us through the throttle and the kill cord before we left. Felt properly looked after from start to finish.
Read moreI have hired a few outboards over the years so I knew what to look for. The engine was starting first pull and the fuel line was in good nick, though the bimini on the rib was a bit faded. Booking was simple and they gave me the right paperwork.
Went with these over a place up the road that wanted a deposit on the day. This one just took the payment upfront and that was it. Pick up was on time and the boat was alright, though the price was a touch higher than I expected.
I looked at three other places before going with these and they were the cheapest for a double canoe on the river for the day. The paddles were a bit worn at the tips but the life jackets were clean and the boat was dry. Booking took two minutes.
