We needed a cheap way to get the car filled up before the holiday trip and this was the best price we could find on the day. Ordering took about two minutes and the card went through first time. Nothing to complain about and I'd use it again for the fuel run.

Read moreGood value for the money, and it's the sort of place you use when you want the cheapest option without fuss. I placed my first order on a weekday lunchtime, the payment went through fine and the balance showed up within a few minutes. Only thing that put me off a bit was having to create an account before I could see the final price, which felt a bit backwards.

I needed kitchen roll and bin bags and was looking for the lowest price per roll. The bulk pack was cheaper than the supermarket by a fair bit. But one of the rolls came with a bit of the packaging torn and the replacement took a week to sort out.

Single Price is an online retailer that sells a range of goods at one fixed price, with every item in its catalogue costing the same. The model is built around a simple proposition in which shoppers can see the cost of an item before they add it to their basket. The company sells household goods, kitchen items, gifts and everyday essentials through its website.
Its customers are mostly UK shoppers who are looking for low-cost items and who like the clarity of a single price across the store. The site operates online only, so orders are placed and paid for through the website and delivered to the customer's address.
