I tried a spray and a plug in first but neither did much for our rescue lurcher. The pheromone collar is what finally settled him down on car journeys, and it arrived in a couple of days. Sign up for the reminder emails, they're handy when you're running low.

Read moreWe needed something to settle our two cats during the building work next door and the vet was quoting a lot for a prescription. The calming drops here cost less per month and the dosage chart is easy to follow. The order arrived quickly, though the box was bigger than it needed to be and the drops came with a short leaflet that was hard to read in places. Still good value for what we get.

Compared with the vet's own range this is a fair bit cheaper and the stuff works just as well for our anxious spaniel. We've been ordering the calming chews for about three years now and they've never let us down, though the site could be a bit quicker when you're in a rush.
I bought the calming collar for my anxious terrier after reading about it online. It was a little pricier than some other brands I'd looked at but it came with a clear fitting guide and the sizing was right first time. The only thing was the order took three working days to dispatch, but once it arrived it's been great on walks.
