I've been buying from them for about eight years now, mostly small bits like gas canisters and gloves. The stove I got last spring is still going strong after a lot of trips. Delivery has always been reliable, usually next working day. Customer service has been helpful every time I've needed them.
Read moreBought a camping stove as my first proper bit of kit. It works fine once lit and the flame is steady. The box arrived a bit bashed on one corner though, and the fuel canister had a dent. It still works, but I'd have liked it packed better. Took a few days to get a reply when I messaged them about it.
Read moreI needed a decent torch for the allotment in the early mornings and evenings, the old one had gone dim. The one I picked is bright and the battery lasts well. My one complaint is the box came with a small dent and the rechargeable cable was missing at first, so I had to message them. They did sort it within a few days, though it was a bit of a faff getting the replacement.
Read moreCompared with the brand I always used, this jacket is a bit cheaper and the fit is just as good. Had a question about the hood and they replied in a day. Delivery was okay, two days.
Good value for what you pay, I'd say. Bought a head torch and a set of walking poles and the torch is bright enough for the dog walk in the dark. Poles are a touch wobbly at the lock but they're fine for the price. Delivery was a day later than they said, but no real bother.
Compared to the big chain I usually go to, this was a bit cheaper for the same boots. Fit is good and they've been easy on my ankles on the hills. I did have to order a half size up after a bit of back and forth on sizing. Delivery was prompt once it shipped.
Compared with the outdoor shop in town, the same rucksack was about a tenner less here, which is why I ordered. The site was easy to use and the checkout didn't ask me to make an account. Delivery was a day later than they said, but the tracking was accurate.
Bought the sleeping mat with the built-in pump, and it does the job for the money. The pump is a bit slow and you need a few goes to get it fully inflated. Delivery was fine, arrived in two working days. Would still pick it again for the price.
Good enough for a weekend away, I'd say. Got a basic rucksack and it has enough space for a sleeping bag and food. Zip on the front pocket catches a bit. Took a couple of days to arrive.
