I've been with Loomy for nearly eight years now, starting with a small personal loan that I paid off early without any hassle. When I needed to top up last year the process was as quick as the first time, and the rate stayed the same. The statements arrive every month like clockwork and the online account is easy to use. That's why I've stuck with them rather than shopping around again.
Read moreI ordered a tent through the site for a camping trip with my grandson, and the listing looked fine when I placed the order. When it arrived one of the poles was a different length from the one shown in the instructions, which made putting it up rather awkward. Customer services did get back to me, but it took four days to sort out a replacement pole.

Read moreThe mortgage calculator on the site is accurate, I checked it against my own spreadsheet and it matched within a few pounds. That's the bit that made me pick Loomy over the others I'd looked at. The rest of the process was fine though the valuation took a while to book, which dragged things on a bit.
Compared with the bank app I was using before, Loomy was way quicker to get going, I had the application done on my phone in about ten minutes while waiting for the kettle. Approval came through the same afternoon and the money landed in my account the next morning. Only thing that annoyed me was they wanted a selfie with my passport twice because the first one was blurry, but fair enough. Would use them again.
Ordered a set of bedding from the site after comparing it with the big department stores, and the price was a fair bit lower for the same thread count. The duvet cover came in a plain mailer bag rather than a box, which I didn't mind. The colour looked slightly darker than the photos but it's still a nice shade. Delivery was next day and everything arrived intact.

The application was simple enough and I got a decision the same afternoon. The only thing that annoyed me was the identity check, which needed three goes because my photo kept getting rejected. Once that was sorted the money came through quickly and the repayment schedule is clear.
Honestly been using Loomy for about three years now and it's mostly good. Repayments have always come out on time and the app is simple enough to check my balance. The one niggle is that changing my details takes a few days to go through, which is a bit slow.
