I was comparing a few places for a character gift for my niece's sixth birthday and this one came out on top for range alone. The other sites either had fewer options or the postage was a shock at the end of checkout. The ordering was simple, the item arrived on the Friday as promised, and my niece has already decided it's her favourite thing ever, so I'm happy with the choice.
Read moreI bought the wooden puzzle set for my grandson, who is nine and rather particular about what he plays with. The pieces fit well and the box is sturdy enough. However the delivery took longer than I was told, nearly two weeks, and I did have to chase it through the site before anyone replied. It's a decent product but I'd want the timing to be better before I order again.
Read moreI needed a present for my nephew's birthday and was running out of time, so I went looking for something a bit different than the usual toys. Found a character figure on the site that looked just right and the ordering was dead simple, took about five minutes from start to finish. Arrived the next working day and he's been carrying it round all afternoon, so I'd say that's a result.

Home of Characters is an online retailer that sells character-led gifts, homewares and collectables for children and adults. The range centres on licensed characters from film, television, books and comics, presented through themed product lines and seasonal collections. The business trades through its website, where products are grouped by character and by occasion so shoppers can find items from a particular franchise quickly.
The company's customers are fans of popular characters who buy for themselves, as well as parents and gift-givers looking for recognisable names. Orders are placed online and dispatched to addresses across the United Kingdom, with product pages setting out sizes, materials and care details.
