Their statements are laid out clearly, which I appreciate, and the customer letters are plain English with no nonsense. I had a query about a payment and it was sorted by the next working day. A very satisfactory experience throughout.

I've used a few of these now and this is the one I've stuck with, mainly because the currency conversion on my foreign card payments is fairly sensible and the fees are clear before I pay. The virtual card for online shopping is a nice touch, and I can freeze it in the app if I think something looks off. Been with them nearly two years and no real problems.

What struck me first was that every fee is listed up front with no surprises when I checked the charges for using the card abroad. I'd been caught out before by other providers so this was a nice change. I've used the card for a couple of trips now and it's been painless, and the money came through to my account the same day it was approved.

Compared with the building society I used to deal with, the interest rate on the fixed saver is noticeably better and I can see everything from my phone. I opened a pot for my grandson's birthday and it was all done in under a quarter of an hour. I'm very content with it.
