The lip balm came in a little tin that felt sturdy and the sun cream I reordered was exactly the same as last time. Checkout was quick and the saved address filled in without me typing anything. Delivery took two days which is what they said, and it all arrived in one box with no damage. Saving a bit by buying the bigger size was a nice bonus, and I'll keep going back for the same things.

Read moreI'd been using a pricier brand for my beard oil and figured I'd see if this was any different. Checkout asked me to make an account first which was a bit annoying, and it took a few minutes longer than I'd like. Delivery was next day and well packed.

I needed a gentle cleanser after my skin started stinging with my old one, so I was glad to find this. I placed the order online and it took a little while to confirm, nearly two days, which I found slow. The product itself is lovely and very mild. When it finally arrived the box was a little squashed. Price is fair for what you get.

Beauty Base is an online retailer of beauty and skincare products, selling cosmetics, haircare, fragrance and tools from a range of brands. Customers shop through the website, where products are grouped by category so that shoppers can compare formulas, shades and ingredients before ordering. The business is aimed at UK consumers who buy beauty products regularly and want to find both established names and smaller labels in one place.
Orders are placed and managed entirely online, and the site provides product descriptions and customer feedback to help people choose. Beauty Base is known for its focus on everyday beauty essentials rather than luxury gifting, and its catalogue is updated as new lines are introduced.
