The first thing I liked was being able to filter by scale, so I didn't end up with the wrong kit. Found a 1/72 aircraft kit in a few clicks and it was added to my basket with no fuss. Checkout was simple and the order turned up on time.
Read moreWanted to try one of their paint sample pots before committing to a whole set and the shade on the screen was a bit darker than what came out of the pot. Not a dealbreaker but I'd have liked a closer look. Order was quick and it arrived the next working day, so no complaints there. Price felt fair for what it is.
Read moreNeeded a model kit fast because my nephew's birthday was on the Saturday and I'd forgotten about it until the Wednesday. Found a Lego-style starter set that was still in stock and paid for it that night. It turned up the next day, which was dead good, and he was made up with it. Only thing is I wish the search showed age ranges more clearly, but otherwise it was spot on.

Ordered my first set of acrylics and the colours are good, they cover well on the first coat. Took longer to arrive than I'd have liked, closer to five days, but it turned up in one piece.
The site is laid out clearly, which I appreciate, and I found what I wanted without any fuss. Ordering was straightforward enough. The one thing I'd mention is that the item was listed as in stock but arrived a few days later than I'd hoped, though it did eventually come.
I needed a specific cleaner for my airbrush after my old bottle ran out. I compared a couple of other UK hobby shops and a big online marketplace before choosing here, mainly because the description said exactly which thinners it was compatible with. It came quickly and the price was fair, though the postage was a bit steep for one small bottle.
