Going straight to the point, it's great value for what you get and I like that they take the fee off the top rather than dressing it up. Set up my entries for the Wednesday and Saturday draws, which took about five minutes. Tickets arrived in the account the same day. Would happily keep using it.

Read moreI'd been buying direct from the National Lottery site for years so I compared this one first. The price per entry is about the same, but they add a little extra on top for the service fee, which I noticed. Signing up was quick and the tickets appear in the account right away. Win prizes get paid quickly. I'd still go with it again, the small fee is fair enough for not having to think about it.

I needed to get into the big draw at short notice because my mate had already put the money in and I wanted in on it. Signing up took longer than I expected because it kept asking me to verify my details, and I had to dig out my passport. Once that was done the entry went through and the money came out of my account the same day. The verification bit is the only real complaint.
Compared with the counter at my local shop, this takes a bit longer to get sorted, mainly because the card details step has to be done every time I log in. The price is about the same as the shop, which is fair. My entries have always gone through and the results email arrives on time. It's a small hassle but a fair one for having it done from home.
