I'd been through a fair few of these plans over the years for various bits of kit, so I knew what to look for. The thing I bought was a replacement boiler, spread over twelve months, and the application was clear and didn't ask for anything unusual. The payments have been taken on the agreed date each month and the statements are easy to follow. It's a sensible option if you want the cost spread…
Read moreCompared to the credit card I usually use for emergencies, this one charged a fair bit more in interest. I've been using them on and off for years though, so I know the process well enough. The money arrived when promised and the repayments come out cleanly. It's a fair service, just not the bargain I'd hoped for.

Read moreI've been using them on and off for about four years now and they've never let me down. The approval came through quicker than I expected this time, though the money took a little while to land in my account, a day longer than the last one. Repayments come out on the date they say they will, which is what I want.
My car needed a new clutch and I was short for the garage bill, so I needed something quick. I had a look at two other lenders first and they both wanted more paperwork and a longer wait for a decision. This one was quicker to apply for, though the interest is a bit higher than the others I checked, which is why it's a four. The money arrived the next working day, so it did the job.
Way cheaper than my bank's overdraft, I'd been paying loads in fees for ages. The sign up was quick enough, took about fifteen minutes on my phone, but then I had to upload my payslip twice because the first one didn't go through and I had no idea why. Once that was sorted the money came through fine and the repayment dates are easy to see in the app.
