I needed help with portion sizes after years of guessing and getting it wrong. I've followed a lot of nutrition advice over the years and I know my way around a food label, so I was sceptical. The portion guides here are accurate and the recipes are sensibly balanced, which I can say as someone who reads these things for a living.
Read moreThe first thing that struck me was how long the sign up process took, with several pages asking the same questions again. Once I was through it the plan itself was perfectly sensible and I have no complaints about the food suggestions. I did find the customer support reply took the best part of three days, which I felt was rather slow for a question about my account.
Read moreThis is the one I'd pick if you're trying a few. I looked at three other coaching programmes and the price here was about the same, but the check ins are what made the difference for me. My coach actually reads what I write and adjusts the plan, which the others didn't do. Signing up was quick and the first session was booked the same afternoon, so I've no reason to look elsewhere at the moment.
Read moreThe verdict on the plan itself is that it is sound and the advice is sensible. My issue was when a delivery was held up for almost a week while they sorted out a problem with my address details. I did get an apology in the end, but I was left waiting without much information in the meantime, which was rather frustrating.
Compared with the plan I was on before, this one feels a bit more generic. The meals are fine but there are fewer options for vegetarians, and I found myself skipping a few weeks because nothing grabbed me. I have been with them for a while so I'm not writing them off, but the value has dropped a little for me.
