I'd used a large food processor for years for soups and the occasional smoothie, and I must admit it took up half the worktop and was a faff to wash. This little one is much more practical for a single portion and I find the blades simpler to clean. I was sceptical at first but I'm glad I made the switch, it's done everything I've needed it to.
Read moreHad a look at a few options first and the cup design is the main thing that made me pick this one. The motor is noticeably louder than the bigger jug blenders I looked at though, which is a bit of a surprise early in the morning. Delivery was on time and it blends well enough. Just mind the noise.
Read moreWe'd been putting it off for ages because the mornings are chaos and I kept skipping breakfast and grabbing a biscuit instead, so a proper blender that does smoothies in seconds seemed like the easy fix. Ordered on a Sunday, it turned up Tuesday in a sturdy box with everything you need included. The cups are small enough for the school run and I've been making a proper green smoothie most days…
Read moreNeeded something quick for mornings because I was buying overpriced smoothies on the way in. Ordered it on my phone during lunch and it came the next week. The blender works fine, though the lid is a bit fiddly to get on the first few times. Otherwise sorted.
Ok so this is pretty much the same as the cheaper one I had before, just a bit sturdier. Good for the price. The delivery took a few days longer than they said but it got here. Smoothies are nice.
The verdict is that it works well enough, though the colour was a bit different to the pictures on the site, a little duller. The blending is good and the cups are easy to handle. Delivery was fine, and I'd go with it again.
I compared this against a pricier blender a friend had and the difference is mostly in the motor, which is a bit weaker, so ice takes longer to break down. For everyday smoothies it's fine and the price is much easier to swallow. Ordering was quick and the box arrived on the day they said.
Bought this instead of the big brand one my sister swears by and honestly the cups are way handier. The return bit was annoying though, I had to chase the site for a label to send a lid back and it took ages to get a reply. The blender itself is good for smoothies and I use it most mornings now. Slightly pricey but ok.
The lids are what I noticed most, they fit snugly and I haven't had a single spill in my bag yet. I ordered a replacement set through the site and it arrived in a few days, which was rather quicker than I expected. The only small niggle is that the cups are a touch fiddly to rinse, but I'm managing well enough and I'd happily order again.
