We needed something for my dad after his GP put him on a new regime and he was struggling to keep track of his readings. I compared three other places first, mostly on price and whether they had a proper helpline. This one came out ahead on both, with a real person answering the phone within a couple of minutes and the paperwork sorted in one go. Dad is much happier now.

I bought the monitoring starter pack to track my glucose during my pregnancy checks. It works fine and the strips are consistent. It is pricier than the big supermarket option though, and I'd have liked a cheaper refill plan for the second month.

Goldfadenmd is the online presence of Dr Bradley Goldfaden, a board-certified dermatologist whose practice is based in the United States and whose skincare range is sold through the goldfadenmd website. The brand focuses on dermatologist-developed skincare, with products designed around everyday concerns such as hydration, ageing skin, sun protection and sensitive skin. The website presents the range alongside educational material on skin health and ingredients, which is aimed at people who want to understand what they are applying to their skin.
Customers are drawn to the brand because of its medical background, and the products are sold directly to consumers online rather than through a network of physical shops. The company also positions itself around the clinical practice of its founder, which gives the range a distinct identity within the wider skincare market.
