Compared to the usual firms I use for work trips this was noticeably cheaper for the same sort of van, and the booking took about ten minutes on the laptop. Collection was smooth with no queue and the paperwork was all emailed through beforehand. The van was clean inside and drove fine on the motorway. Dropped it back on time and the return was quick, which is what I wanted from it.
Read moreCompared a few firms before picking these because the price looked good, but collection took well over an hour and nobody told us why. The car was dusty inside and the fuel was lower than the booking said it would be.
Read moreI needed a van at short notice to clear my late mum's garden shed and the rubbish that came with it, so I wanted something with a decent load space. Booking was quick and the van was clean and ready when I got there. The only thing that caught me out was the mileage limit, which I hadn't noticed on the first read, but the staff explained it kindly when I asked.
Read moreGood value for a short trip, the price was lower than the other firms I checked. Only niggle was the deposit hold on my card took a while to drop off after I returned it.
Booked a hire car for the weekend on my phone while waiting for the kids to finish football so I didn't spend ages on it. The booking page loaded fine on my phone and I got a confirmation email straight away. Pickup was quick and the car was clean, only thing is the fuel was already a bit low so I had to top up before returning it.
Compared to the airport firms this was quicker to get out of, no queue at all. Booking on the app was easy enough and the car was clean. The only thing was the air con was a bit weak but it was fine for a short run.
Compared to a couple of other hire firms I looked at this was a bit dearer once the extras were added. The car was in good condition and the booking was straightforward. Would have liked the insurance excess explained a bit more clearly up front.
I looked at three other firms before going with these, mostly on price, and this came out a bit cheaper. The booking page is clear and the car was fine on the motorway. Returning it was a faff though, the drop-off bay was hard to find and I had to wait for someone to check the car over.
