Looking at the other options for hiring a car for our trip, these were noticeably better value than the local firm we'd used before. The staff explained everything plainly and didn't try to upsell us on extras. The car was in excellent order when we set off and the mileage allowance suited us well.
Read moreI hired a small hatchback for a week while my own car was being serviced. The booking itself was straightforward enough, though I did wait some days for the confirmation to come through, and I rang twice before anyone got back to me. The car was perfectly serviceable when I collected it, and the price was fair, but I'd have appreciated a quicker reply.

Never hired a car before so I was a bit nervous. Booked online and it was all clear what I needed to bring. Pick up was quick and the car was great for a weekend away.
